The National Economic Dashboard - TBN is the first digital platform combining and giving free access, in a single place, to all information on the Algerian economy from official sources. It is an evolving set of headings representing the broad guidelines of the national economy, the information of which is regularly updated, into statistical data, analytical reports and contextual surveys.


The economic activity is measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Money stock is the common means of payment in an economy (fiduciary money and scriptural money).
Fiduciary money includes banknotes and metal coins in circulation in and outside the banking and postal system. Scriptural money includes all means of payment credited to bank and postal accounts.

The labour market is identified in Algeria through two complementary sources. The first is given by the "Employment and unemployment" survey carried out by the ONS. The second is given by the statistical services of ANEM (Agence Nationale de l’Emploi). The first source (ONS) assesses the unemployment rate, the profile of the unemployed as well as that of the employed population. The second source (ANEM -http: // provides monthly information on job applications, job offers and placements made.

The Centre National du Registre du Commerce (CNRC - updates statistics on the creations, modifications and deletion of companies. These statistics are given by status (legal or natural person), by sector of activity and by wilaya. These statistics allow to understand the issue of business demography by sector, region and in the long run.

The office National des statistiques (ONS) updates statistics on the evolution of the population through data gathering of civil status and the Recensement Général de la Population et de l’Habitat (RGPH). Civil status statistics data allow real-time tracking of demographic events as births, deaths, marriages and divorces.
The RGPH provides an exhaustive insight of the population condition and its structure every ten years.

The Autorité de régulation des Postes et des Communications électroniques (ARPCE - keeps annual and quarterly statistics on the fixed, mobile and Internet telephony market. These statistics cover the number of subscribers per operator, by type of subscription (postpaid and prepaid), the penetration rate and the volume of traffic and revenue generated on each network.

This level is assessed on three indicators: internet payment, withdrawal of funds from automatons (DAB) and finally payment through the EPT network (electronic payment terminals).
